OPENING
The meeting opened with a discussion around “Why NTI”. The resulting comments centered around Player Development, Friendly City Competition, Farm System for the AAA and Major programs and kids being able to play higher level baseball with friends.

TEAM FORMATION DISCUSSION
A general discussion was held on the various team formation practices of the organizations with all parties understanding that team formation was the responsibility of each organization individually. All teams would abide by the 75% rule in the bylaws (At least 75% of the players on each team were required to be from that city/town. The only caveat that was discussed was to include small adjacent towns that had no recreational league of their own (ex Copper Canyon , Double Oak) as being part of the bigger cities/towns that they border.

WWW.NTIBASEBALL.ORG OVERVIEW
Eric Kliensorge then introduced the NTI Website and took the group through the various pages. Eric also provided examples of forms that were available through the Web for league and coach use.

GAME SCHEDULING
The next discussion topic centered around game scheduling. Randy Robinette made the request that multiple games needed to be scheduled (ie. If the Coppell fields were scheduled for a certain date, he wanted multiple fields and times at the complex scheduled for that date). This would make it more attractive for Umpires, concessions and parents.
